  Living next door to John Patterson in DeKalb County census of 1850, Dist.8, household#788 (Ancestry.com image#111). Amanda Harper, age 12, and Laura Harper, age 9, living in home. Along with Mathew living with John, may have been orphaned children of a daughter of William.

First pair would be born c. 1810-1815, second 1815-1820, 5 1820-1825, 1 1825-1830. So there was at least one more boy and one girl. A son and daughter might have been married before 1840.
