  My g-grandmother, Mamie told the story of when Meta was born. Meta was her sister. When she was born, Mamie had recently given birth to her 1st child.
 Mamie and Meta's mother was ill and could not feed her child, so the child was given to Mamie to nurse until mother was better. Mother did not get better, but died a month later. Mamie kept sister until 3 years later when father remarried and came for the child. Child never forgave father for taking her. Married Oscar at early age and never looked back.
