 Services for Gerrit Eilderts, 85, were held at 1:30 p.m. Mon. at Bethel Reformed Church of rural Aplington with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Eilderts died Thurs., March 20, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.
 Survivors are his wife, Harmke; 3 sons, George of Clarksville, Jerry of Parkersburg and Steno of Aplington; 7 daughters, Mrs. Reiner Fecht of Stout, Mrs. Adolph Kolpek of Grundy Center, Mrs. Harmina Kruger of Parkersburg, Miss Elta Eilderts of Aplington, Mrs. Albert Krull of Grundy Center, Mrs. John Mulder of Dike and Mrs. Bruce Menken of Greene; a sister, Mrs. Ed Haats of Aplington; 2 half-sisters, Mrs. Folkert Jungling, Aplington and Mrs. Herman Freese of Dumont; 2 half-brothers, Koert of Ackley and Harm of Aplington; 4 step-sisters, Mrs. Henry Behrends of Mason City, Mrs. Gus Siefken of Bristow, Mrs. Eildert Eilderts, Parkersburg and Mrs. John Kalkwarf of Aplington; and a step-brother, Albert Haats of Aplington.
