Born in Arpelar, Texas on March 12, 1916, she was the daughter of Ralph Luck and Minnie Campbell Luck. She was married to Grover F. Phillips in Atoka on July 26, 1947. He preceded her in death October 20, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Charity Phillips; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Haile; and two brothers, H.S. Luck and Johnie Luck. Survivors include three sons, Elvis Jones and wife, Shirlean of Bryan, Texas; Fulton Phillips and wife, Sherry of Celina, Texas; Grover W. Phillips and wife, Phyllis of Atoka; two daughters, June Caster of Austing, Texas and Louise Burrough and husband, J.B. of Cartwright; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother Bill Luck of Atoka; three sisters, Lois Hemames and Olive Williams, both of McAlester; and Betty Akins of Kermit, Texas. Pallbearers were Ricky Meadows, James Armstrong, Gene Broome, Jack Anderson, David Durbin, and E.A.
