Note: After old George impregnated young sister-in-law Rhoda Laughlin, and she was shipped off as a bond slave on a wagon train to Oregon, he got religion! He was sure he would go to "Hell". When my grandad, William Ralph Harbison, and his brother, James, age 12 & 17 respectively, sneaked off on a Sunday to go swimming, their father came along in the wagon, took their clothes and buggy whipped them all the way home! Supposed to be home reading the Bible since their father was a sinner! Before this he was a "drinking man". The son born, came here to see my Grandad, William Ralph Harbison, when I was a child. He looked like a smaller copy of his half brother.
