 1944 – 2017
  Clarence Roger “Huggy Bear” Brown 73, of Argillite KY went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington WV.
 He was born in Greenup County on August 1, 1944 a son of the late Clarence Herbert & Thelma Mae Lewis Brown.
 He was a self employed carpenter, attended the Argillite Nazarene Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
 He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife Rena Ann Stepp Brown in 2000.
 He is survived by two sons, Robert Mitchell Brown of Guyton GA and Chris Brown of Oxford FL; three sisters, Deborah Lynn Allen of Greenup, Judith Carol Krantz of Floyd Knobs IN and Lesia Lynn Horsley of Greenup; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
 Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers Lloyd Baldridge and Tom Jackson.
 Burial will follow in the Oldtown Cemetery.
 Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
 James Dickey American Legion Post 23 will conduct military graveside services.
