Note: k, James Bullock (County Clerk), and David Bullock. All of these early Bullock names appear in the 1813 Guilford Co., NC will of Edward Bullock. John & Edward Bullock are jointly listed in two land transactions one of which was a land purchase by John Bullock. John appears to be the only one of these Bullock brothers to purchase land in White County and settle there. John Bullock is listed in the in the 1830 White Co. census record near William Bradford & William C. Bounds near the Browns Mill area. Also, a land grant record for Isaac A. Huddleston (signed by Gov James K. Polk) lists John Bullock owning property adjacent to Isaac A. Huddleston & Charles Huddleston NE of the Browns Mill Cemetery around what is now referred to as the Bev Clouse place. A study of the 1820 & 1830 census records show that John had sons within the age ranges of William, Jesse, John, and Thomas R. Bullock. Thomas Bullock lived around the Brown Mills area and married Naomi Brown.
Note: White Co., TN land transaction records between 1818 and 1824 list John Bullock, Edward Bulloc
