Letter 13/06/1997 from Dr.phil. Manfred Wilde of Delitzsch:
On 22/11/1871 Franz Emil Theodor Engler purchased the Blacksmiths for 950 Taler (?190) from Johann Gottfried Gaul, his father in law.
As Theodore is recorded as being a Hufschmiedemeister (a hoof Blacksmith) in Kattersnaundorf, along with his father in law, and his father was a Schmiedemeister (Blacksmith) in Nockwitz it is unlikely the above is true [ie: fruit farmer].
