  “Edgar and Christiana (Called "Anna" all her life) had one child, Myrtice Boardman born Sept 29, 1890 on a train in Cheyenne, WY. Edgar and Christiana went their separate ways after that. Edgar moved to Iowa and married Susie May (Shaw) Shafer and had a son, Philip Boardman b. abt 1907. Christiana never remarried. In the 1920s and 1930s she lived in Spokane, WA. She died Aug 8 1948 and is buried in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell, MT. “(Christa Powell)

  DEATHS
 ANNA R. BORGEMAN
  Work has been received here of the death of Anna R. Borgeman at Spokane on Monday. Mrs. Borgeman was 82 years of ange and the mother of Mrs. Asa Powell of Apgar.
  She had made her home with her daughter in Apgar for several years before going to Spokane two years ago.
  Besides her daughter, she is survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, also several sisters who reside in the east.
  Funeral services for Mrs. Borgeman are being held this afternoon in Spokane after which the body will be brought to Kalispell, arriving here Thursday afternoon at 4:45 o’clock. The body will be taken directly from the depot to Conrad Memorial cemetery where grave side services will be held by S. J. Rapson, reader of the CHristian Science churdh. Internment will follow under the direction of the Waggener & Campbell funeral home.

  OBITUARY
  ANNA R. BOARDMAN
  Anna R. Boardman was born July 13, 1866 at Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She spent her childhood there and in 1886 was united in marriage to Edgar Boardman at Eau Claire. The Boardmans lived for a time in Chicago and later moved to Portland and other points on the west coast. From 1896 unto 1908 they made their home at St. Paul and Minneapolis and in Los Angeles from 1898 until 1913. Mrs Boardman was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist of Spokane and of the Mother Church of Boston.
  Since 1913 she has made her home in Spokane with the exception of a stay in Apgar from 1940 to 1946. She passed away on August 8, 1948 in Spokane at the age of 82 years. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Asa Powell of Apgar; one sister, Adelle McCray of Newton, Mass.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
