Violet M. DeYoung
GOLDSBORO Violet Margaret DeYoung of Goldsboro, died May 26, 1991 at Caroline Nursing Home, Denton. She was 85. She was born Fair Lawn, N.J. April 9, 1906, daughter of John and Louise Lock DeYoung. She was a graduate of Fair Lawn High School, Fair Lawn, 4 N.J. She was a practical nurse, working mainly with polio patients. She moved to the Goldsboro are in 1971, She was a member , of the Greensboro Baptist Church and the Denton Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by one son, Jack Meister. He died in 1955. She is survived by one son Donald H. Meister of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Fleegle-Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 Sunset Ave. Greensboro were friends may call Tuesday evening 7 to 9. Interment will be m Greensboro Cemetery.
