  Franklin W. Doherty SUN CITY - Doherty. 76, a World War I pilot in the Royal Air Force who was active in the formation of the Royal Canadian Air Force, died Wednesday in Boswell Memorial Hospital.
  Mr. Doherty, of 10025 N. 110th Ave., was a member of the World War I Silver Wings of Arizona, a former director of the Canadian Society of New York and vice president and a director of the Canadian Club of New York City. He had been a financial adviser 36 years with the R. W. Pressprich Investment Co. of New York City before coming here in ????. A native of the Westmount section of Montreal, Quebec, he was graduated from McGill University at Montreal and did graduate studies at New York University. Survivors include his wife, Frances, and two sisters in Montreal. Services will be at 2 p.m
