1930 Census - Rufus Funk (57) and Minnie (60) are living at 2304 Hampshire, in Quincy, Illinois. Minnie was 47 when she married Rufus, who was 23 when he married his first wife. Minnie was his second wife. Rufus was a salesman of mining stock.
1940 Census - Rufus Funk (67) and Minnie (70 ) are living in Ward 6, Quincy, Quincy Township, Adams Co., IL. They both completed the 8th grade. They were living in the same place in 1935. No occupation is listed for either Rufus or Minnie. They are living at 430 Broadway No. 18 in Quincy, maybe an apartment, rented for $31 a month.
