 Carl "Jack" Butzloff of Jenkintown, retired Jenkintown police chief, died Nov. 19, 2008, at Holy Redeemer Hospital. He was 85. He was the husband of the late Helen M. Kenney Butzloff. Born in Tampa, Fla., he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Isabel O'Donoghue Butzloff. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Air Corps. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Butzloff, Patricia Hickerson, Barbara Malloy, Theresa Clayton, Mary Beth Kolbes, Elaine Flannery and Maureen Coyle; his sisters, Valeria Myers and Elizabeth Ann Kelly; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph P. A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 24 at Immaculate Conception Church, 602 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Immaculate Conception Church at the above address. Arrangements by Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, Jenkintown.
