 57, of Springfield died at 1:04 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Hospital.
  He was born Sept. 6, 1935, in Virden, the son of Audrey Ethel Buck Bostic and George Washington Bostic Sr. He married Shirley Bacon in 1957; she died in 1991. Also preceding him in death were a son, George W. III, two grandchildren and two sisters, Helen Nudo and Joyce Lash.
  Mr. Bostic was employed by Crown Transit Bus Co. for 20 years until retiring. He was a member of Third Presbyterian Church.
  Surviving are a son, Gregory L. of Springfield; a daughter, Theresa M. Vonberg of Springfield; three grandchildren; two brothers, Rex of Springfield and Bill of Indiana; three sisters, Mary Jane Sargent of Springfield, Enola A. Moske of Gardena, Calif., and Betty Carpenter of Moore, Okla.; several nieces and nephews.
  Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. H. Warren Wilkewitz officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

  She was born June 6, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of William and Margaret Marie Flynn Bacon. She married George Washington Bostic Jr. in 1957 at West Side Christian Church. Preceding her in death were one son, George Washington III, and two grandchildren.
  Mrs. Bostic was employed by Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for several years. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church.
  Surviving are her husband, George Washington Bostic Jr.; one son, Gregory Lee of Springfield; one daughter, Theresa Marie Bostic Von Berg of Springfield; three grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and William Bacon, both of Springfield; one sister, Rosemary Bacon of Clearwater, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. H. Warren Wilkewitz officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
