  1899 Grant Co, IN marriage record for Emma Resler and John J. Dohan marriage date 24 Aug 1899. I do not know if this is my Emma.
  1900 census Indianapolis city, Marion Co, IN has Emma Dolan age 38, b IN Apr 1862, parents b OH, husband John J. Dolan age 33 b IN Apr 1867 parents b IL, occupation Iron Molder. It shows they had been married 0 years. Curious it shows she had no children.
  1910 census Dist 0170, Richland, Scott Co, MO, has Jennie married to Marion E. Resler showing Jennie's parents born in Indiana.
  1910 census Bethel Twp, Clark Co, OH, has an Emma Dolan age 42 b Indiana 1868, parents b OH, husband age 41b IL 1869 parents born "Ire English", occupation farmer. It shows them married 11 years. It shows she had no children. Of these census I am most skeptical this is my Emma.
  1920 census New Orleans Ward 13, Dist 227, has an Emma Dolan age 51 b Indiana, parents born Indiana & Ohio, husband John Dolan age 57? b IL, parents b Ireland. His occupation is given as Superintendent, Foundry. Possibly their ages are reversed i.e. Emma's should be 57.
  1930 census Shelbyville Dist 1, Shelby Co., Ind has Emma Dolan, age 66, b. IN, parents b OH, 1st marriage age 22, husband John J. Dolan age 61, b. MN, parents b IL, 1st marriage age 17. His occupation is given as Foundry Moulder. If this is my Emma it implies she married someone about 1886.
  1971 obit for Mrs Jennie Resler, Kokomo Tribune, 23 Feb 1971 says she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jep Taylor.
  Possible EMMAs single living in Carroll Co in 1880 b Indiana abt 1862 parents b OH; based on the 1880 census:

 Emma Gibson b abt 1861,boarder, occupation teacher
 
Note:   I recall my father, Olpha Ray Vick, Jr calling Emma "grandma Dolan" so that is my only solid indication of her marriage. About 1970 some family member told me Emma was from New Orleans - see the 192
