One of Ella's sons, Olpha Ray Vick Sr, is buried beside her in Sikeston. According to Elsie, Ella named her other son Lannes after a childhood friend named Lannes Ogilvie; a Lannes Ogilvie was born about 1898 in Charleston, MO where Lannes Henry Vick was born. Elsie also said her mother's full name was Elvira Lackland Henry. Ella's death cert is available in the Missouri archives.
Note: Ella's daughter Elsie said Ella told her that her grandfather was a 1/2 brother to the Virginia patriot Patrick Henry and that her dad fought on the Confederate side duing the Civil War. There is n
