Note: His 1917 draft registration lists several facts including that he was medium tall, stout build, black eyes and dark brown hair. His home address is given as Bertrand, MO. According to his son O. R. Vick Sr was a relatively sucessful farm manager who worked for a bank and had 2 automobiles in the 20 at a time when few people had one. His son also said O.R. Vick Sr was a heavy drinker who died from pneumonia complicated by excessive alcohol consumption and was also a womanizer.
