a. Note:   Catherine worked as a Hospital Medical Records Technician at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan until she retired at age 89. Catherine passed away at the age of 93 on 20 August 2008 at the Canterbury Assisted Living Complex in Waterford, Oakland County, Michigan.

  MONK, CATHERINE L.; of Waterford; August 20, 2008; age 93; born June 27, 1915 in Dugger, IN. Daughter of the late Edna and Harry Ferguson; mother of Beverly A. Hundley, Charles K. Monk, Jr. (Judith), Harry D. Monk (Alicia), Paul W. Monk (Diane) and Phyllis E. Monk; also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grat grandchildren; preceded in death by one grandchild; sister of Marie Boles and Imogene Ridgley (Earl) of Sullivan, IN and the late Leland Ferguson and Mary Ferguson. Catherine retired from Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital after 45 years of service. She loved golfing, bowling and was an avid bingo and card player. A Celebration of Catherine's Life will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008, 11 a.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, David E. Parks, Minister officiating. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
