Notes
a. Note:   In 1810 in Lincoln Co., NC there is a Judith Piner, over 45 years old, with a male bet. 10 and 15, and a female between 16 and 25. There are no Witts in the county, but Isaac Holland is there. In 1820 Dempse Pinner and Isaac Holland are in the same district in Lincoln, NC.
Dempsey Appears in the 1834 tax for White County, TN. in Capt. Sparkman's district owning 140 acres. In the 1830 census he is shown between 50 and 60. This does not jive with other records, so where is the mistake?
When Dempsey Pinner died, his estate seems to have been in question because it appears in court through 1841, between John Witt, the executor, and Winkfield Hill, the guardian for Elizabeth. Have not found the actual records yet.
