  Alexander R. Wyatt appears in directories for East Saginaw (later Saginaw), Michigan, from 1881/82 until 1911. In 1881/82 he is listed as a shingle mill laborer boarding at Washington House (Washington Avenue at Charles). Alexander's occupation becomes machine hand or machinist from 1883 through 1909 for various employers. In 1910 he was a car checker for the Michigan Central railroad, and in 1911 he was a millwright. He appears in the 1912 Detroit Directory as a millwright. Between 1890/91 and 1910 Alexander lived at 537 Provencher. From 1907 Provencher was renamed Lincoln.
