a. Note:   John C. Roushorn. The death occurred yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph's hospital, Port Arthur, of John S. Roushorn, Rowand street, following a lingering illness. He was 75 years old.
 The late Mr. Roushorn had resided at the head of the lakes for the past 30 years, much of that time as an elevator employee. He lived in West Fort William for many years and was well-known in that sector.
 Besides his wife a family of six daughters and three sons survive. They are: Bessie, Howard and Carl living at home, George of Kingston, Mrs. J.S. Miller, and Mrs. L. Wannan, of Sudbury, Mrs. P. Whalen, of Fort William, Clara, of British Columbia, and Beatrice of Newfoundland. The funeral will be conducted on Saturday.
