a. Note:   odge, Saskatoon, SK. Ruth was born on October 27, 1914 in the Kinley district, Saskatchewan. She attended Wheatfield School and the School for the Deaf. Ruth worked at the School for the Deaf and a local drug store, as well as St. Paul's Hospital. Ruth is survived by two nieces, Jean Miller of Saskatoon, SK and Audrey Cannon (Ted) of Edmonton, AB; and one nephew, Carman Wyatt of Edmonton, AB. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex in 1993; and by three sisters and four brothers. Ruth will be lovingly remembered for her wit, winning smile and gentle hugs. The Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK on Monday, June 4, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Carlton Miller officiating. Interment in Perdue Cemetery, Perdue, SK will take place at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 438 - 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK and/or the Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, 109 - 514 23rd Street East, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 0J8.
