a. Note:   Aged Merchant Passes Away Mr. Robert Harrison passes to his reward. He was a familiar figure on the streets of Merrickville for the past 60 years. He was born in Kitley Township 82 years ago. He married Adelaide Crozier 55 years ago.
 The deceased was a militia man and a veteran of the Fenian Raid troubles of 1866 and 1870. For the service rendered then, he carried two medals. He also had the long service medal as a soldier. He won his commission, being made a lieutenant.
 The late Mr. Harrison was a member of the Methodist Church. A constant at church and was in church on the Sunday before his death.
 The following are immediate relatives: Mrs. K. Warwick in the home here and three other daughters, Mrs. W.H. Barr, Rochester, New York; Mrs. Alfred St. Marie of Transcona, Manitoba; Mrs. J.A. Byce, D'Arcy, Sask. Also two brothers, Thomas of Perdue, Sask., and Hunter of California, U.S.A., and one sister, Mrs. D. Crozier of Gainsboro, Sask.
