Note: Although Lum Poon is long believed to have been Kam Poon's father, their birthdates based on their grave markers would not seem to support this, as Lum would have only been 8 when Kam was born. Kam's death certificate, however, suggests that he was born in 1858, (67 years of age at time of death in 1925), and not 1848 as stated on his gravemarker. If so, it is conceivable that Lum could have been Kam's father.
