Text:   HECK-SATTERFEAL MARRIAGE VOWS READ IN BLOOMINGTON Miss Fern Heck, of Bloomington, and Cpl. Leslie Satterfeal, of this city, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, in the Methodist parsonage at Bloomington. Rev. Edgar E. Atherton read the single ring ceremony.
  The bride was attractive in a white suit with black accessories and a shoulder corsage or red roses.
  Miss Marie Miller, of Bloomington, attended as bridesmaid and wore a navy street-length dress white white accessories and a shoulder corsage of gardenias.
  John Reeser, of this city, attended the bridegroom as best man.
  Mrs. Satterfeal is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Heck of Funks Grove. She graduated from Bellflower Township high school with the class of 1942. At present she is employed by the Sylvania War Plant in Bloomington.
  Cpl. Satterfeal is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Satterfeal. He attended both schools graduating from M. T. .H. S. with the class of 1942. He has recently returned from the European war theatre. He will report September 16 at Camp Grant for reassignment.
  Mrs. Satterfeal will remain in Bloomington.
2. Title:   Marriage Announcement - Harry Grindley/Dorothy Satterfeal (1948)
Text:   DOROTHY SATTERFEAL AND H. GRINDLEY WED IN BLOOMINGTON Miss Dorothy Satterfeal, daughter of George Satterfeal of this city, and Harry Grindley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glifford Grindley of Mahomet, were united in marriage at 2:45 p. m., Friday, Oct. 8, in the Methodist parsonage at Bloomington. The Rev. E. E. Etherton performed the single ring ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Satterfeal of this city, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.
  The bride was attired in a gray suit with black accessories and wore a corsage of red roses and white carnations. Mrs. Satterfeal also wore grey with brown accessories and a corsage fashioned after the bride's.
  The couple took a short wedding trip to Rochelle and are now at home in Mahomet.
  Mrs. Grindley was graduated from Moore high school with the class of 1945 and has been employed at the local telephone office until a few weeks ago, when she transferred to the Mahomet office.
  Mr. Grindley attended the Mahomet schools and served for some time with the armed forces. He is employed with the C. A. Petry and Son contractors in Champaign and commutes daily.

Text:   George E. Satterfeal Dies In Hospital George Euin Satterfeal, 49, died at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Macon County Sanitarium, Decatur where he had been a pateint the last three weeks.
  He was born Sept. 16, 1901 at Campbellsville, Ky., to Shive and Emma Grammer Satterfeal. He was married in 1922 to Doris Edna LeVeck of Bloomington who predeceased him in January 1947.
  Survivors are three sons, Leslie, Allen and Delmar, all of this city; also seven daughters, Margaret of this city and Mrs. Dorothy Grindley, Mrs. Mildred Grindley, Edna, Linda, Deanna and Gayle all of Mahomet.
  Two brothers, William of this city and Leo of LeRoy and three sisters, Mrs. Emily Thompson, Bloomington, Mrs. Sarah Bailey and Mrs. Virgie Bailey both of LeRoy. One sister preceded him in death.
  He had lived in Farmer City for 22 years and the last few years had been employed at Carl's Truck Stop.
  Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Stensels' Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Harrold, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Burial was made in Maple Grove cemetery.
  Casket bearers were Vernell Kent, Raymond Smith, Veldon Bealor, Carry Lewis, John Reeser and Herbert Carey.

Text:   George E. Satterfeal FARMER CITY - (PNS) - George Euin Satterfeal, 49, died at 4 p. m. (standard) Thursday in the Macon County Sanatarium at Decatur. He had been a patient there the past three weeks.
  He was brought to Stensel's Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
  Mr. Satterfeal was born Sept. 16, 1901 at Campbellsville, Ky., the son of Shive and Emma Grammer Satterfeal. He married Doris Edna Le Veck at Bloomington in 1922. She died in January of 1947.

Text:   M SATTERFEAL IS ENGAGED TO WED Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Satterfeal of Farmer City are announcing the engagement of his sister, Miss Margaret Satterfeal of Denver, Colo., to Richard Anderson, also of Denver.
  The couple is planning a spring wedding in Denver. Both are employed by United Airlines in Denver.
  She is a graduate of Farmer City High School and attended Illinois State Normal University.
