Text:   Delmar Carlson LEROY (PNS) - Services for Delmar Carlson, 64, who died Saturday (Sept. 24, 1983) at Decatur Memorial Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bruce Memorial Home, the Rev. Norman Toney officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
  Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Brintlinger Funeral Home, Decatur - where Masonic rites will be accorded at 8:30 p.m. - and an hour before the service at Bruce Memorial Home.
  He was born Oct. 8, 1918, at Downs, a son of Andrew V. and Amy L. Sappington Carlson. He married Hazel I. Canady May 30, 1939, at Bowling Green, Mo. She survives.
  Also surviving are a son, Gary Dean, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Linda England, Mount Zion; a brother, Donald, Pekin; a sister, Ruth Wagers, Mahomet; and two grandchildren.
  Mr. Carlson was educated in Ellsworth schools, and moved to Decatur from Bloomington in 1956. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1980.
  After retiring, he farmed in the LeRoy area until the time of his death.
  He was a member of United Auto Workers union, Decatur; Stephen Decatur Masonic Lodge; Moose Lodge, Decatur; and the Farm Bureau.

Text:   Andrew V. Carlson LEROY (PNS)--Andrew V. Carlson, 87, a retired farmer in LeRoy, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at Jackson Heights Nursing Home, Farmer City,
 where he had been a resident.
 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the LeRoy United Methodist Church, the Rev. Roberst S. Swain officiating. Burial will
 be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
 Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Stensel's Funeral home. Mr. Carlson was born Jan. 20, 1889, at Downs, a son of Charles and Jennie Nelson Carlson. He married Amy Leta Sappington Jan 21, 1915, at
 Bloomington. She survives.
 Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Wagers, Mahomet; two brothers, Delmar, Pekin and Donald, Decatur; ten grandchildren, and 17
 great-grandchildren.
 He was preceeded in death by three brothers and one sister. He was a member of the LeRoy Methodist Church and a 60-year member of the Odd Fellows. He was also a member of The Modern Woodman of
 America.

Text:   Amy Carlson LEROY (PNS)--Amy L. Carlson, 82, a resident of Jackson Heights Nursing Home, Farmer City, and formerly of LeRoy, died at 7:50 a.m.
 Monday at the nursing home.
 Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at LeRoy Christian Church, Jim Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
 Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Stensel's Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 25, 1896, at LeRoy, a daughter of James and Mary Wyckoff Sappington. She married Andrew Carlson Jan. 21 1915, at
 Bloomington. He died Oct. 21, 1976.
 Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Wagers, Mahomet; two sons, Delmar, Decatur; and Donald, Pekin; 12 grandchildren; and 24
 great-grandchildren.
 Five sisters and two brothers preceeded her in death. She was a member of LeRoy Christian Church, to which memorials may be made. Memorials also may be made to Jackson Heights Nursing Home,
 Farmer City.
