Text: George E. Satterfeal Dies In Hospital George Euin Satterfeal, 49, died at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Macon County Sanitarium, Decatur where he had been a pateint the last three weeks. He was born Sept. 16, 1901 at Campbellsville, Ky., to Shive and Emma Grammer Satterfeal. He was married in 1922 to Doris Edna LeVeck of Bloomington who predeceased him in January 1947. Survivors are three sons, Leslie, Allen and Delmar, all of this city; also seven daughters, Margaret of this city and Mrs. Dorothy Grindley, Mrs. Mildred Grindley, Edna, Linda, Deanna and Gayle all of Mahomet. Two brothers, William of this city and Leo of LeRoy and three sisters, Mrs. Emily Thompson, Bloomington, Mrs. Sarah Bailey and Mrs. Virgie Bailey both of LeRoy. One sister preceded him in death. He had lived in Farmer City for 22 years and the last few years had been employed at Carl's Truck Stop. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Stensels' Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Harrold, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Burial was made in Maple Grove cemetery. Casket bearers were Vernell Kent, Raymond Smith, Veldon Bealor, Carry Lewis, John Reeser and Herbert Carey.

Text: George E. Satterfeal FARMER CITY - (PNS) - George Euin Satterfeal, 49, died at 4 p. m. (standard) Thursday in the Macon County Sanatarium at Decatur. He had been a patient there the past three weeks. He was brought to Stensel's Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mr. Satterfeal was born Sept. 16, 1901 at Campbellsville, Ky., the son of Shive and Emma Grammer Satterfeal. He married Doris Edna Le Veck at Bloomington in 1922. She died in January of 1947. He is survived by four sons, Leslie, Allen and Delmar, all of Farmer City, and Goyle, Mahomet; six daughters, Miss Edna, Miss Linda and Miss Deana Satterfeal, Mrs. Mildred Grindley and Mrs. Dorothy Grindley, all of Mahomet and Miss Margaret Satterfield, at home; two brothers, William, Farmer City; Leo, Le Roy; three sisters, Mrs. Emily Thompson, Bloomington; Mrs. Sarah Bailey, and Mrs. Virgie Bailey, both of Le Roy. One sister preceded him in death. He had lived in Farmer City the past 22 years and had been employed at Carl's Truck Stop.

The body was taken to the Stensel Funeral home in LeRoy, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. (standard) Saturday. Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery west of LeRoy. Mrs. Satterfeal was born Sept. 17, 1873, in Russell County, Kentucky, daughter of Willis and Besty Jane Oddle Grammer. She was married to S. H. Satterfeal in Jamestown, Ky. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Will and George, both of Farmer City, and Leo of LeRoy; three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Bailey and Mrs. Virginia Bailey, both of LeRoy, and Mrs. Emily Thompson, Bloomington; three brothers, Ben Grammer, LeRoy; Columbus Grammer, Indianapolis, Ind., and Jess Garmmer, Somerset, Ky.; three sisters, Mrs. Janie Hash, Mrs. Mattie Paston and Mrs. Josie Sanders, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; a half brother, Charlie Grammer, Stanford; a half sister, Mrs. Belle Flannagan; stepmother Mrs. Mary Jo Grammer; 34 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist church.

SATTERFEAL, 43, DIES THURSDAY AFTER PARALYTIC STROKE Mrs. Doris Edna Satterfeal, 43, died at 5:45 p. m., Monday, in the Brokaw hospital, Normal, where she was taken last Thursday following a paralytic stroke. Deceased was the daughter of Edward and Sarah M. Lawrence Leveck and was born in Merna, July 13, 1904. Survivors are her husband, Geo. Satterfeal; her father, Edward Leveck of Bloomington, and ten children, Leslie, Mildred, Dorothy, Allen, Delmar, Margaret, Edna Mae, Linda Lou, Diana Rose and Gayle Ann. Also surviving are four brothers, Dean, Hollandburg Ohio; Wesley, Bloomington; Franklin, Hollywood, Calif., and Edward Metcalf, Kappa; and three sisters: Mrs. Evelyn Black, Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. Ruby Given, Mansfield, and Mrs. Beulah Carrey, Junction City, Ky. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. (this) Thursday afternoon at Stensels' funeral home, with Rev. Fred R. Harrold of the Christian church officiating. Burial will be made in Maple Grove cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Taylor Grammer, Roy Reynolds, James Hyatt, John Isaacs, Carl Lamb, and Everett Woods. Flower bearers will be: Betty Anderson, Hannah Jean Williams, Clara Belle Lamb, Ruth Pittman, Betty Parr, Barbara Spratt, and Roberta Green.
