Title: Obituary - Anna Niebrugge (1887)
Text: Mrs. Anna Bloemer Dies At Age 85 Mrs. Anna Bloemer, 85, of rural Effingham, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, June 17, 1973, in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham. The daughter of Anton and Wilhemina Feldhoelter Niebrugge, she was born July 7, 1887, in Effingham county. She married Joseph Bloemer in August, 1905. He died in 1952. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, Effingham and the Altar Society. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Philomina) Kinkelaar, Effingham; Mrs. Catherine Doedtman, Effingham; Mrs. Bernard (Florence) Probst, Wheeler; Mrs. Ray (Gertrude) Probst, Dieterich; Mrs. Leonard (Augusta) Unkraut, Effingham; sons, Arnold, John and Francis, all of rural Effingham; Louis of Teutopolis; Brothers, John, August, Edward and Clem Niebrugge, all of rural Effingham; sisters Mrs. Otto Weinstroer and Mrs. Carl Seiler, both of St. Louis, Mo., 79 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. One daughter, Agnes Vonderheide, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony Church, Effingham, with burial in the church cemetery. Father Terry Niebrugge, Father Richard Niebrugge and Father Herman Niebrugge, nephews of the deceased, con-celebrated the Mass. Mass servers were grandchildren Dale Probst, Michael Kinkelaar, Dan Bloemer and Arnold Bloemer. Pallbearers were grandchildren, Arthur Bloemer, Robert Bloemer, David Bloemer, Donald Probst, Dean Probst, and James Kinkelaar.

Title: Obituary - Katherine Bloemer (1884)
Text: MRS. HERMAN DUST DIES Mrs. Herman Dust, nee Bloemer, died Saturday night, December 23, 1939 at her home near Effingham. She was 55 years of age at the time of her death and is survived by her husband and four children, namely: Henry, Fred and Joseph of Effingham and Mrs. Adolph (Mary) Hoene of Sigel. Four brothers also survive: Joseph, Clem and Ben Bloemer of Effingham and Henry Bloemer of Kansas City; besides two sisters: Mrs. Henry Althoff and Mrs. J. Frank Koester, both of Effingham. The deceased also leaves one grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Anthony's Church, with burial taking place in the parish cemetery in Effingham. This paper extends its sympathy to the bereaved family members.
