Text:   Mrs. Elizabeth Deters Dead Mrs. Elizabeth Deters, 78, died about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in her home in St. Francis Township, south of Teutopolis. Mrs. Deters, widow of the late Anton Deters, had been seriously ill for the past several weeks.
 Elizabeth Deters was born January 5, 1873, the daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth Schoenhoff Pruemer. On October 25, 1892 she was married to Anton Deters who preceeded her in death on July 29, 1947. The couple lived on their farm in St. Francis township their entire life. She was a member of the St. Ann's Sodality of St. Francis church and of the Third Order of St. Francis.
 She is survived by two sons, Henry and Albert, and one daughter, Emma Deters all of Teutopolis. Albert and family and Emma made their home with Mrs. Deters. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one brother, William Pruemer, Sr., of Teutopolis. Three children died in infancy.
 The body was taken to the Habing funeral home, where the rosary was recited at 7:30 Monday and Tuesday evenings.
 Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis church.
 A requiem high mass was sung by Father Ralph Scherrer, O.F.M. assistant pastor.
 Pallbearers were Ed Kemme, Henry Zerrusen, Herman Kremer, Joe Pals, Albert Lau and Lawrence Wernsing.
 Flower carriers were grandchildren of the deceased namely, Eileen, Pauletta, Dolores, Donald and Arthur Deters.

 We wish to express our sincere thanks to Father Salvator Wegemer, O.F.M., Father Ralph Scherrer, O.F.M., Dr. H. B. Runde, the pallbearers, donors of spiritual and floral offerings, neighbors, relatives and friends and all who assisted in any way during the illness and after the death of our dear mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Deters. THE CHILDREN
 Burial was in St. Francis cemetery.
