  Former Resident Dies in Elmhurst
 Ray C. Preston, 60, formerly of Gibson City, died at 5:51 p.m. Thursday at the Elmhurst Hospital where he was admitted earlier in the day. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the rev. Leo Ewing officiating. Burial was in Gibson City Cemetery. Mr. Preston was born July 2, 1902, in Gibson City, the son of William C. and Vesta Hool Preston. He was married to Alyce Hunt Sept. 8, 1925, in Gibson City. Mr. Preston was an insurance agent in the community until moving to Indianapolis in 1940. The next year he moved to Glen Ellyn, and in 1956, he moved to Wheaton. He leaves his widow; two sons, Alray of Des Plaines and Murray of Springfield; five grandchildren; his mother, and three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte McClure of Gibson City, Mrs. Zelma Shields of Foosland and Mrs. Charlene Klausen of Champaign. Mr. Preston was a member of the Methodist Church.
