a. Note:   The Village of Paluszyce, Community of Wietrzychowice, Poland had been part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire since 1795. Paluszyce was in the region known as Galicia or Little Poland.
  Family history has Kunegunda marriage to Wladislaw Herdzina as Wladislaw was heading to America. Kunegunda after marriage made her way to Sweden where she was a seamstress. Kunegunda got passage on the SS Laurentic departed the Port of Liverpool on November 17, 1910, Arrived November 25, 1910 in Portland Maine. Inspection Card Contract Ticket No 7070. Noted on back of card is stamped for Portland Maine Station Dated Nov. 25, 1910. SS Laurentic is part of White Star Shipping Line. The White Star shipping records indicate that the Laurentic was sailing between Liverpool and Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1910. Found Ship Manifest in Atlantic Port Passenger List 1820-1873 1893-1955 Passenger List of Vessels Arriving at Portland Maine Nov. 29, 1893 to March 1943 Reel T1151 Roll 11. According to information many Central Europeans migrated from Central Europe Through Sweden to England because Immigration restrictions were easier from Sweden.

  To all relatives and acquaintances we report the sad news that our most beloved mamusia and grandmother the late Kunegunda Herdzina (nee' Knap)
 Member *Tow. Nieiast Rozanca sw Rozy 16ej I Tow. Polek sw. Weroniki r. 406 ZPRK (Polish Roman Catholic Union of America) suddenly departed from this world provided with the blessed Sacraments on 21st December, 1964 of old age.
 The funeral will take place on Wednesday 23 December as 10:30 a.m. z zaktadu porzebowega, pnr. 834-38 N. Ashland Ave to the church St Helen and from there to St. Adalbert Cemetery.
 To this sad ceremony we invite all relatives and friends we burdened with deep grief:
 Wladyslawa (Violet), Edward, Adolf, Stefan, Leokadia (Lola), Jan (John) and Dolores, children; Albert Sylvester, Leonard Narcaroti, and Alray Preston, sons-in-law; Dorota (Dorthy), Loretta and Betty, daughters-in-law; grandsons and granddaughters along with the hole family.
