a.	Note: BI2 Note: The Newton family was living on the farm 'Terri Hi High' at Ilford at the time, but mother Ruby went to Millthorpe when Lindsay and Neville were due to be born. There were no hospital facilities at Ilford, but more importantly, Ruby had the support of her mother and the Ezzy family at Millthorpe.
b.	Note: XI2 Note: Neville was cremated privately, and his ashes interred in a niche (pictured) at the columbarium next to St. Michael's Catholic Church, Nelson Bay. The niche and plaque were consecrated 21 January 2017.
