a. Note:   f cancer at the home of her daughter Mrs Frak Arnold of Sugar Grove at 5:30 O'clock tuesday night.She had been ill since September.Mrs France had resided in Carbondale for 36 years, her husband, Dr George France, died in 1916.
 She leaves two sisters, Mrs James Bowers of Colfax,Iowa, and Mrs Frank Doolittle of Carbondale:six children Mrs George Curtis, Mrs Sam Nicely, and Brett France of carbondale, Charles France of Barberton, Mrs Sam Woodard of Payne, and Mrs Frank Arnold of Sugar Grove. She also leaves 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. One son and one daughter preceeded her in death, Mrs Addie Howsen and Fred France.
 The body was removed from Sugar Grove to the Curtis home Wedsnday morning.Services will be held in the Methodist Church friday at 3 O'clock with burial in the Asbury Cemetery. Jan 20,1932
