Jonathan Nunn witnessed the marriage of our ancestor Daniel Ward Kelly to Maria (Sitzer) Small on 4 Nov 1832 in London District, Ont.
Jonathan Nunn and Daniel Ward's father, John Kelly, both subscribed to a new church in St. Catharines, Ont. in 1796. They are listed as residents of Beaverdams. John Kelly left Woodbridge, NJ in 1778 with 13 other Loyalist families, and after a 10 year stay in Groveland, NY, moved to Beaverdams, Thorold, Ont.
Jonathan's daughter, Mary Nunn, b. 1804, married Daniel's brother, Samuel Kelly. (An obituary states Jonathan Nunn was an uncle of Samuel Kelly, but I have my doubts)
Since Jonathan seems to have so many connections to our family, I wonder if you can verify that he was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth. By any chance, do you know his wife's name? I have tentative dates fo 1764-1864 for Jonathan.
