Notes
a. Note:   Martha died before 1900, as her husband, Robert H. Speer, is shown to be a widower in the 1900 Federal Census in Smith County, Texas.
There are several Ingrams buried in the Bascom Cemetery near Arp, Texas. The oldest that I was able to locate was William B. Ingram, born 8/22/1838, died 11/6/1879, who was joined by his wife Emma Caroline Ingram, born 7/19/1850 and died 6/13/1936. There is also a J.F. Ingram, born 4/18/1880, died 5/20/1941 (I wonder if these initials stood for "James Frazier," the same as James Frazier Speer) along with his wife Martha Ellen (Currie) Ingram, born 8/2/1880, died 3/6/1954.
On the Smith County web site, there is this notation for Civil War Pension Applications:
Ingram, Laura 45568, Claimant: Ingram, Laura, Pension Number: 45568
 Husband: Thomas Jefferson
There is a probate will noted in Smith County minutes for this W.B. Ingram (File 609, PMB 1/334, 336, 338) which lists a Robert Speer as an appraiser. Robert Speer would have been William B. Ingram's brother-in-law.
