Note: Eloise Hanson Thompson certainly is one of the most unique individuals I have personally ever met. She is truly "Old South" in her thinking and in her personal character. She never, ever hesitates to speak her mind, and her observations about situations are typically very close to the mark.
She very much enjoys being the center of attention, even in her eighth decade of life. One can only imagine her attraction to the spotlight of attention at an earlier age. Eloise can always be counted on to keep the ball rolling in any gathering.
The above was written around 1995. Five years later, Eloise is still kicking, albeit with a little less force.
