 (carbon copy, 31, 4 leaves) at the Adriance Memorial Library,
 Poughkeepsie, New York. David Huested was born in 1719 at Greenwich,
 Connecticut, the son of David and Johannah Brundage Huested. He married
 Millicent Barton, daughter of Joseph Barton, ca. 1740, probably at
 Greenwich. They had ten children. He died in Washington, Dutchess County,
 New York, in 1787. Descendants lived in New York and elsewhere. Includes
 the Boyce and other related families. Includes, at end, transcripts of the
 following: Mickel family Bible records, 1774-1875, from the family Bible
 of Phillip Mickel (1774-1828) and his wife, Millicent Huested, of
 Schoharie County, New York -- Husted family Bible records, 1762-1913, from
 the family Bible of Ebenezer E. Husted (1767-1810) and his wife, Hannah
 Lewis, includes the family of Israel F. Vincent and Hanna Husted, who were
 married in 1841.
  In the name of God amen, I, David Husted, of Washinton
 precinct in Dutchess County and State of(?) New York Yeoman
 being weak in body but of sound m(?)ind and memory (blessed be
 God) do this twenty first d(?)ay of May in the year of our
 Lord one thousand seven h(?)undred and eighty seven make and
 ordain this my Last W(?)ill and Testament in manner following
 (Viz) First of all, I(?) give and recommend my soul with the
 hands of God that g(?)ive it my body I recommend to the earth
 to be buried in decent Christian buriel at the discretion of
 any executors hereafter to be mentioned, And touching such
 worldly estate th(?)erewith it has released God to bless me
 with I give and dispose of the same in manner and form
 following.
  Im?nimi?. I Will and Order that my just debts and funeral
 charges be first paid and discharged by my said executors.
 Item. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Milisent
 Husted the one equal third part of my lands and building that
 I now possess and now in my possession, and likewise the one
 third pat of all my movables of all kinds, she is to hold the
 possession of the lands and building, below mentioned as long
 as she remains my widow, and the movable abovementioned during
 her natural life.
  Item. I give and bequeath and bequeath unto my son David
 Husted ten shillings besides seventy one pounds which he has
 already had paid out to him.
 Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Lewis Husted five pounds
 and seven shillings lawful current money of the State of New
 York besides fifty four pounds and thirteen shillings, which
 has been already paid out to him, the said five pounds and
 seven(?) shillings is to be paid within three years after my
 disceas.
  Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Titus Husted the sum of
 eight pounds nine shillings and six pence lawful current money
 of the State of new York to be paid within three years after
 my disceas beside fifty one(?) pound and (?) shillings which
 has been already paid out to him.
 Item. I give and bequeath unto my son, Amos(?) Husted one
 pound lawful current money of the State of New York to be paid
 within three years after my disceas(?) beside seventy four
 pounds which has been already paid out to him.
  Item. I give and bequeath unto my son A(?)ham Husted three
 pounds and ten shillings lawful current money of the State of
 New York to be paid within three years after my disceas beside
 sixty six pounds and(?) ten shillings which he has had already
 paid out to him.
 Item. I give and bequeath unto my youngest son, ________
 Husted all my land that I now reside(?) and building ____? and
 the two third of all my movables, that I have not already
 disposed of in this present will to him his heirs and assigns
 forever.
  Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eunice Gould two
 pounds lawful money of the State of New York to be paid within
 three years after my disceas beside twenty two pounds which
 she has already had.
  Item. I give(?) and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Boyce one
 pound ten shillings current money of the State of New York to
 be paid within three years after my disceas besides twenty
 five pounds which she has already had.
 Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ruth _______(?) one
 pound and six shillings lawful money of the State of New York
 to be paid within three years after my disceas, besides twenty
 two pounds and fourteen shillings which she has already had.
  Item. My will and pleasure is that if my son Reuben(?) Husted
 should outlive my said wife Milisent then the one third part
 of said farm that is mentioned to be given to my said wife
 shall _____(?) to my said son Reuben Husted to him his heirs
 and assigns forever, I likewise will and order that all the
 sums and __________(?) herein mentioned to be paid out, shall
 be paid out by my executors hereafter to be mentioned,
  Item. I likewise constitue made and or(?)dain Joynt executors
 of this my last will and testament my wife Milisent Husted and
 my son Reuben Husted _______ _________ __________ _______
 allow and ________(?) all and my(?) other(?) form(?) testament
 with __________(?) and executors and confirming this and no
 other to be my last will and test(?)ament.
  In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the
 day and year first above written.

  Signed sealed and published pronounced and declared by the
 said David Husted as his last will and testament in the
 presents of us the subscribers, Wallis Briggs, Thomas(?)
 Mosher, Silas(?) Devet(??) Dutchess County.
  Be it remembered that on the twenty third day of June(?) in
 the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty
 seven personally came and appeared before me Albert(?)
 Livingston Surrogate of the said County Wallis(?) Briggs,
 Thomas Mosher and Silas De(?) _____(?) all of Dutchess County
 farmers(?), the said Walter(?) Briggs Being duly sworn and the
 said Thomas Mosher and Silas ___________(?) being(?) duly
 affirmed, the said Walter Briggs on his oath and the ______(?)
 said Thomas Mosher and Silas ________(?) their affirmation did
 declare, that they and each of them did see David Husted sign
 and seal the above written instrument purporting to be the
 will of the said David Husted bearing date the twenty first
 day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
 and eighty seven and heard him publish and declare the same as
 and for his last will and testament. That at the time thereof
 he the said David Husted was of sound disposing mind and
 memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him the said
 Walter Briggs deponent, and them the said Thomas Mosher and
 Silas _________(?) Junior Affirmants, And that their names
 subscribed to the said will, are of their respective proper
 hands writing, which they subscribed as witnesses to the said
 will in the testators presence.
 G(?)ilbert Livingston Surrogate ______(?) The People of the
 State of New York by the grace of God free and independent. To
 all to whom these presents shall come(?) or may concern send
 Greeting. Know ye that at ________(?) in Dutchess County and
 State of New York on the twenty third day of June instant(?)
 before Gilbert Livingston _____(?), now Surrogate of our said
 County the last will and testament of David Husted deceased
 (______? whereof is hereunto ______?) was proved and is now
 approved and allowed of by us, and the said deceased having
 _________? the lived(?) and at the time of his death goods
 chattels or credits(?) within this State by means whereof the
 proving and registering the said will and the granting
 administration of all and singular the said goods chattels and
 credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging
 the amount thereof doth belong to ______(?), The
 Administration of all and singular the goods chattels and
 credits of the said deceased and any way concerning his will
 is granted unto Milisent Husted and Reuben Husted Executors in
 the said will named the said Milisent Husted being first duly
 affirmed and the said Reuben Husted being first duly sworn
 well and faithfully to administer the Same and to make and
 exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the
 said goods chattels and credits, and also to render a just and
 true amount thereof, when thereunto acquired, In testimony
 whereof we have caused the seat of Office of our said
 surrogate to be hereunto occupied(?).
  Witness Gilbert Livingston Esquire Surrogate of the said
 County at ________________(?) the twenty fifth day of June in
 the year of our Lord on thousand seven hundred and eighty
 seven and of our independence the eleventh.

 Dutchess County (?) Recorded the preceeding will of David
 Husted, the certificate of the proof thereof, and letters
 testamentary thereon, this third day of July in the year of
 our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven.
