Notes
a. Note:   David Husted was born about 1713, in Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, apparently the son of Moses Husted [1659].
About 1741, David married Pricilla Ann Whiticar and they lived in the town of Fairton, in Fairfield Township. They were members of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church [Old Stone Church], and Church minutes show that apparently David was suspended several times for public drunkeness between 1761 and 1767.
Sons Hosea and Reuben were members of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, involved in the battles of Trenton and Princeton, and supposedly were with General George Washington crossing the Delaware River. David died on March 3, 1775, and he is buried at the Old Stone Church in Fairton. His will dated March 15, 1775, was proved on April 6, 1775. His wife Priscilla Ann Whiticar was born about 1726, and died about 1782 in Fairton.
