Note: Mary LOCKWOOD MARRIAGE: Per "History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield", Donald Lines Jacobus, comp. and ed. pages 380,381: "Mary, m. (1) Jonathan Husted, of Greenwich, who receipted for her portion, 1 Dec. 1681; m. (2) Joseph Knapp, of Greenwich." Angell Husted sr's son Jonathan was a Sergent in the Greenwich Train Band. By 1681 he had married Mary Lockwood, daughter of Robert Lockwood, she later married a Joseph Knapp. Joseph's will of July 29, 1705, was proved on March 23, 1706. It read; to wife Mary all estate until my cousin Jonathan Jessup, now dwelling with me be twenty-one; one-half of realty forever to my wife, and one-half to said cousin and carpenter tools. Inventory was on May 13, 1706, attested to by Mary Husted. On October 4, 1711, Mary, wife of Joseph Knapp of Greenwich, by consent of husband and in right of former husband Jonathan Husted, conveyed to " my loving cousin Jonathan Jessup ", lands in Greenwich and Stamford, Connecticut.
