a. Note:   Josiah3 Hunt (Josiah2, Thomas1) was born on 11 Mar 1674. He and Abigail Husted obtained a marriage license on 24 Dec 1695. He died on 7 Dec 1746 at age 72 (George T. Fish, Thomas and Cecilia Hunt descendants, P 118; Purchase Quaker Record.). His estate was probated on 14 Feb 1747.
  He also went by the name of Grove Josiah. He left a will on 31 Oct 1743 at Westchester, Fairfield County, New York (Thomas Hunt Descendants, Manuscript, December 1936 Copy in possession of Everett Hunt, p 42.).
