"DIED, In Lyme township, on the 18th instant, Mr. SHADRACH HUSTED,
aged 54. His death was occasioned by being choked with a piece of
beef."

Massachusetts - An individual named Shadrach Husted, of Sandusky,
Ohio, a few days since, at dinner, attempted to swallow a large piece
of beef which stuck fast in his throat. He immediately took a stick
and directed one of his sons to push the obstruction down. The son
did so, but the operation caused his father's death.
