 wm 1850 Apr 09 NJA 2847F I, Daniel Husted of Bridgeton in the
 township of Bridgeton, in the Co. of Cumberland in the state of
 NJ, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this
 for my last Will and Testament.
 First. I give and bequeath to my Dear wife Mary Husted the sum of
 sixty dollars to be paid to her within six months after my decease by
 my executor which sum I give to my said wife in addition to her lawful
 right of Dower in all my real estate. I also give and bequeath to my
 said wife Mary one bedsted, bed and bedding.
 Second. I give and devise to my son Daniel Husted all my equal
 undivided one half part of the farm lying on Cohansey creek joining lands
 of Ephraim Mulford and others containing one hundred forty two acres, more
 or less being the same premises conveyed by Mertille Bishop to my son
 Daniel and myself as tenants in common and I do order my son Daniel in
 case he accepts of the above devise, to pay into my general estate the sum
 of one hundred dollars which sum of one hundred dollars is to be
 distributed with the residuary parts of my estate herein after directed.
 Third. I do authorise and direct my Executor herein after named to
 sell and dispose of the two following described lots or tracts of land
 either at public or private sale for the highest price he can obtain to
 wit. The first is a lot of woodland containing about four acres which I
 purchased of Jonathan Shaw and was formerly owned by Isaac Sheppard,
 situate in the township of Fairfield. The second is a tract of woodland
 in said township of Fairfield, being a part of the old Farm which I
 purchased of Jeremiah Nixon, containing about fourteen acres adjoining
 land of Ebenezer Wescott and others, and I hereby authorize my said
 Executor to make execute and deliver to the purchaser of purchasers
 thereof good and lawful deed or deeds of conveyance in fee simple for the
 same.
 Fourth. I give and devise all the residue of my estate, both real and
 personal whatsoever and wheresoever after payments of all lawful and just
 debts and funeral expences unto my Daughters, Jane, Clarissa, Rebecca,
 Phila, Matilda and Hepseba, and to my Grandson Ebenezer Dare, the son of
 my daughter Susanah deceased to be divided equally between them share and
 share alike to them their heirs and assigns forever.
 Fifth. I do hereby appoint my son Daniel Husted Executor of this my
 testament and last will. In witness whereof I have hereby set my hand and
 seal the fifteenth day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand
 eight hundred and forty six. Witnesses: Hosea Moore, Samuel DuBois, Ovid
 Vannaman.
