Note: She lived in the early 1900s in Kingston on Earl St. because of her father's position there at the Penitentiary. This is where she met and married Dr. James Reid. At the time of the birth of her son, Murray, her husband was in Englehart. Mabel's brother, Dr. Harold Bowie from Brockville, was in Essex so they moved to Leamington. She died at the Sun Parlor Home in Leamington.
