 Landed Quebec City. Second class on the maiden voyage of the Lusitania - The ship docked in Quebec City, then went on to New York City. On the return trip the Lusitania was sunk in WWI by the Germans. Ada said there had been announcement in the papers not to take the Lusitania, but nobody paid attention or believed them. During the first three days on the ship Ada had been very sea sick & stayed in her room lying down. A married lady she was sharing the room with brought her cups of tea. When finally she appeared at the dinner table, the purser insisted she leave because she belonged the third class steerage. But all was vouchered for by the lady sharing her room. *Ship's list list Mrs. M.Hart & F.H.& Fera Hart, or Mrs. M. Gledhill & Masi H Gledhill as besides Ada M Quince.

  Ada was Anglican & later converted to Roman Catholic religion when married. One Sunday Ada & risen early & got all the children out for mass for 7:00 o'clock! The sermon that early morning was telling people to get out of their lazy beds & go to church. With those misguided words, Ada gave up go to church. That is until April 1981 when she attended her eldest granddaughter's wedding.

 Donovan, Ada Mary Peacefully on Monday Jan13,1997, at the North York Seniors health Centre, in her 99th year. Predeceased by husband Joseph Donovan, daughters, Irene, Adele Rowell & Sally Holdsworth, son John Donovan & grandsons Michael & Peter McGettigan. Dear mother of of Iris Donovan, Elizabeth Bolton (Ronald), Ada Ingram, John Keats (Tom) & Terry (Mabel.
 Dear mother inlay of Derek Rowsell, Jack Holdsworth & Ethel Donovan. Dear sister of Edna Dean & Sybil Hawkes of Camridgeshire, England.
 Gramma Nina will be sadly missed by her 22 grandchildren & 32 great grandchildren.
 Ana was an unfailing source of love & inspiration her extensive family & in the giving, she was the true artist helping us with the shape of our lives at Jerrett Funeral home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel . Cremation to follow.- - -
