He had a cottage in the Georgian Bay area near Parry Sound. One day when he and his son Terry Jr. were in his row boat when a black bear came swimming toward them. He put in quickly to one of theses tiny rock island with a single tree on it. He climbed tree and reach down to pull up his son, but Terry was already high above him! Luckily the bear sniffed around the boat and swam off. - - -
