Note: REFORM Ernestine Price Windle, age 77, of Reform, died July 10, 2009, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Stansel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Burrage and Obituary Published in Tuscaloosa News on July 11, 2009 Rev. Hershel Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Boyd Windle; parents; daughter, Billie Jean Windle; and granddaughter, Amanda Asher. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Asher (Bill) of Palmetto, Ala. and Denise Findley (Alan) of Reform, Ala.; sons, Buren Windle (Pat) of Carrollton, Ala., Anthony Windle of Reform, Ala. and Dennis Windle (Tammie) of Reform, Ala.; sisters, Faustine Bresnahan (Tony) of Coker, Ala. and Jean Hydrick of Fosters, Ala.; brother, Jack Price (Laverne) of Ethelsville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Windle was born August 15, 1931 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Emmit and Mary Edna Hollinger Price. She was a member of the Baptist faith, a retired CNA at Salem Nursing Home in Reform and a life long resident of Pickens County. Ernestine was a loving mother and beloved MawMaw to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest hobby was fishing and fish trembled at her name. Pallbearers will be Randy Simpson and her loving grandsons, James Reeves, Johnathan Reeves, Joe Findley, Jake Findley, and Brenton Windle.
