 Lois Irby, born Feb 7, 1910 in Missouri to G. Ash (born Missouri) and Nancy Ash (born Illinois), married to J. E. Irby, died May 5, 1931 (age 21 years, 2 months, 28 days), of General Peritonitis, cause undetermined. To sick for operation when first seen - no history of posible cause. Illness started Apr 21, 1931, was transported to Appalachian Hospital from South Carolina on Apr 31, 1931. Undertaker: Appalachian Funeral Home, Johnson City, Tennessee, Informant: J. E. Irby, Pacific, Missouri, burial May 6, 1931 in Pacific, Missouri.
  Her mother, Nancy, had always thought that Lois was poisoned by her husband, Edward Irbey. Especially since he supposedly remarried only two weeks after Lois' death. But her brother, Coot Ash, always believed it was Appendicitis.
  Her sister, Marcella, had a dream that her sister was on a cloud waiving goodbye. She later received news that Lois had died.
