Note: James Luttrell was supposedly a cousin of Polly's and she married him when she turned 18. Just two days after the wedding, James beat her up really bad and her brother, George Washington Luttrell, went over there and shot James as he walked out onto the porch. The family stories have indicated that George "buried him where no one would ever find him", but I've also seen a listing on Find a Grave indicating James may be buried in Wall Place Cemetery, Pulaski County, Missouri. Polly's father lived in Pulaski County, Missouri at the time. If anyone know who his parents are, please let me know. marcinelohman@comcast.net Co. D Mo H.G.
