a. Note:   WILLIAM NATHANIEL WYRICK
  William N. Wyrick, 76, passed away at his home near Etterville at two o'clock Saturday morning following a lingering illness. William Nathaniel Wyrick was born in Miller county, June 4, 1866 and departed this life March 27, 1943. He was the son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth (Hix) Wyrick. He was one of a family of 12 children, five boys and seven girls. Four brothers, John J. Wyrick, Allen Wyrick, Robin Wyrick, and Pharoah Wyrick and five sisters, Cordelia Wiser, Susa Mary VanHoosier, Mina Hicks, Martha Long and Joycia Long have preceded him in death.
  In 1903 he was married to Vertie Templeton and to this union two children were born one son, Lester Wyrick passed away at the age of 23 years and William N. Wyrick of the home, who has cared for his father during his long illness and after the death of his wife. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law and three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. N. J. Wyrick of Kansas City and Mrs. Eliza Colvin of Jefferson City. Mr. Wyrick lived a quiet, patient life. He was afflicted from childhood and for many years has been confined to his home most of the time. He always enjoyed the visits and favors of his friends and relatives. He had great faith in God and spent many hours reading studying his bible. He had many friends in the community and will be sadly missed by all.
  Funeral services were held at the Ben Allen cemetery Sunday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock. The service was conducted by Rev. Ivy Hibdon of Eldon. Burial was made in the Allen cemetery with Phillips Funeral Home Service.
