 MRS. SPRINGER, 53, WIFE OF FARMER DIES SUDDENLY
  Mrs. Minnie R. Springer, wife of Henry Springer, died suddenly at her home near Gordonville Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Although suffering from a heart ailment, she was about as usual Wednesday, and when a windstorm came up, she went to the poultry yard to gather up a flock of young turkeys and place them under roof. While so engaged she was stricken and expired shortly afterwards.
  Mrs. Springer who was nearly 53 years of age, was born in Hubble township and lived her entire life on the same farm. Her maiden name was Amelunke. On Jan. 6, 1895, she was married to Henry Springer, he now surviving her, together with two daughters, Mrs. Maude Frank of Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Frieda Sievers of Jackson; three sons, Henry, Albert and Walter Springer, who are at home; one sister, Mrs. Wm. Hennecke of Hubble township, also six grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, south of Gordonville, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

 Mrs. Hy. Springer Drops Dead
 Mrs. Amanda Springer, wife of Hy. Springer, who lives southwest of Gordonville, was called suddenly yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, when she was out in the yard looking after her chickens, as a storm was approaching. She suffered a heart attack and died instantly.
  Mrs. Springer's maiden name was Amelunke and she was born and reared in that community, reaching the age of 52 years, 6 months and 2 days. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters: Mrs. Amanda Frank of near Cape and Mrs. Frieda Sievers of West Jackson, and three sons: Henry, Albert and Walter, all at home.
